5 Fab Ways to Use Nourish

Written by Jeanette Nkwate

Did you know that there are many great ways to use Afrocenchix’s Nourish, Strengthening Biotin Oil? As it says on the tin, it works wonders on strengthening, but there are a few other benefits that we’ll delve into. So read on to find out how to get the most out of your bottle of Nourish!

Scalp Care

Ok, so this is an obvious one but don’t be fooled, Nourish packs a punch with a blend of over 30 (yes, really!) essential oils and nutrients. So if you’re looking for an oil that will look after your scalp health this oil is for you.

The pipette style bottle is perfect for even distribution and allows you to apply the oil directly to the scalp, making it great for wig and braid lovers alike. Just apply to a clean scalp and gently massage. It will penetrate your scalp, increase circulation, and comfort any itchy or sensitive skin. Also, it helps to combat dandruff

Beard Care

Don’t forget that beards need love too! Nourish is an easy way to make your beard look and feel great. Just apply after you’ve had a shower to help lock in moisture and keep it feeling nice and soft.

Pre-poo

Want to give your hair some extra care before you start wash day? You can apply to the ends of hair before you shampoo with Swish, just apply Nourish from root to tip and let that sit on your hair for at least 10 mins before washing. It’s also great if you have dry, damaged ends, as this lightweight treatment helps to nourish split ends and hair follicles giving them a sleek look.

Styling Your Hair

Nourish can help provide extra slip and prevent frizz when styling or taking down styles. So just remember to coat your fingers with the oil before doing your braids or unravelling your hair for a twist out or Bantu knot out.

Intensive Treatment

Does your hair need some real TLC? Nourish is also a biotin-infused deep treatment. So you can use it to prevent damage and to keep your hair feeling and looking strong.

But just remember if you decide to warm up the oil to create a hot oil treatment, we recommend pouring out the amount of oil you need in a separate bottle/container and gently heating that instead of putting the whole bottle of oil into hot water.
